Age of persuasion -

Keep an eye on the following link for this week's CBC "Age of persuasion " show.
It does a great job of discussing tag lines and slogans. We discussed the difference between these and key messages.
Have a listen when it is posted.

A couple of class changes

Hello everyone! I hope that you are having a great weekend.
Congrats again on the public speaking assignment last class-well done.
I have to make a couple of adjustments to the class schedule due to guest speaker conflicts (not with them, but with their schedule ;)

Here are the changes.
  1. Ann Hutchison will be presenting March 23rd instead of Feb 23.
  2. road trip to Contact Creative print house with Chris Gooyers will occur on March 16 instead of March 2. All class content will also be switched with the exception of the due date for assignment 2. Please note that the press release assignment is still due on March 2nd.

We will go through all of this again in class. Sorry about the changes but both of our guests are very busy so flexibility is essential.

Recently, the Canadian Cancer Society underwent a rebranding and rather large change of image. Read the article below and visit the site.

What do you think?
How does this change your image of the organization?
As we talked about last week, a brand is your soul and what you stand for. What does this rebrand tell you about the core of the organization?
